Part 2
Autumn—Reflection and Harvest
It’s a time to look deeper still. This is a season of re-evaluating. You will be enjoying further benefits from the previous seasons—physically, emotionally and spiritually. But, it’s also a time of preparation and shifting mindsets. Renewing your mind brings real, lasting transformation.
Health Focus:
Cleansing – This is a time to harvest and enjoy the results of your efforts and what you have so diligently been working towards. It’s also a time to reassess and look ahead by letting go, detoxing, cleaning out the old (old mindsets, old ways, etc.), “reorganizing” and supporting body systems.
- Physically
- Cleanse/detox: sugar detox, 7-10 day detox plans, elimination plans, add juicing
- Boost your immune system
- Support struggling or “weaker” body systems – gut health, liver health, lower inflammation
- Emotionally
- Reflect on your progress and journey – what’s working, what isn’t
- Reorganize and plan for next season changes you’d like to see
- Be thankful for accomplishments, opportunities, and all the blessings of your life!
- Spiritually
- Reflect on personal growth and seek deeper understanding and revelation in your faith
- Reassess mindsets and attitudes –Where do you need to “let go” to move forward? Where do you need to shift your focus?
Winter—Rest and Renewal
This is a quiet season. Not necessarily inactive, but it’s a time of refreshing and recovery…often from burnout. It’s ok (and essential) to slow down, stop and take care of YOU.
Health Focus:
Healing – This is a time to pause with a specific focus on rest and rejuvenation. It may require a more focused therapeutic plan for healing and rejuvenation.
- Physically
- Prioritize slower-paced living, rest, sleep and recovery
- Light, gentle, enjoyable exercise
- Focus on therapeutic, nourishing foods and nutritional supplements
- Emotionally
- Embrace taking care of your needs
- Focus on stress management
- Address lingering emotional issues and focus on heart healing
- Prioritize times of quiet to refresh and renew emotions and mental capacities
- Spiritually
- Deepen and/or renew the roots of your faith
- Focus on promises of healing and renewal
